A death metal band with it's roots entrenched in the Wildrose Hardcore scene, Calgary's Snakepit has been relentlessly pushing their definition of heavy music since 2012. Known for their performances displaying technical proficiency and ferocious stage presence, Snakepit leaves crowds in awe and ravenous for more. They have performed alongside the likes of D.R.I., Knoll, Prowl, Trench and Wake, comfortably pairing with any type of extreme music.

Debuting with their Split (2014), the band has been uncompromising with creating their sound. Taking elements of thrash, death, doom, and hardcore, Snakepit's sonic character is eclectic and unique to them. Every song is a brutal assault, charged with blistering riffs and crushing breakdowns. They never shy away from using atypical song structures, keeping listeners on their toes.

Continuing the flame laeden warpath of Eternal Conflagration (2020), Snakepit returns with Invasion of Fire. Three new distinct offerings of death that continue the evolution of their sound and showing their strengths from previous efforts have only emboldened.
